iQsim was on the move again in 2012, where it was preparing many exciting product announcements that will be shown off this year. The company continues to show a commitment to cutting-edge technology along with its long-standing focus on stellar customer service and experience.

Take, for example, how iQsim has modernized fax communications while simultaneously enabling customers to save money and lower other fax-related costs. This is provided easily and efficiently with its new FS400 Fax & SMS Communication Router, an all-in-one enterprise fax and SMS (Short Message Service) solution.

It cuts costs in multiple ways, such as the environmental impact associated with traditional fax, allowing them to develop SMS as an efficient communication channel to their customers. Fax and SMS traffic are also allowed without any PBX (News - Alert) involvement via the FS400. Incoming and outgoing telephony and fax traffic go through the device, with all incoming calls bring routed to the PBX and all outgoing calls being routed from the PBX to the FS400, which transparently routes them to the PSTN.

With this option, enterprises can have multiple virtual fax numbers to send and receive fax (such as for management, accounting, or sales departments). All fax and SMS are sent and received via the enterprise e-mail application, which is already installed on the desktops. The FS400 can also be set up with a dedicated PBX link.

There were many other achievements and accolades for the company in the past year, TMCnet  recently reported. In 2012, the company first showed off its SIM card storage rack for call and SMS termination – SIM Rack 256 – which is the newest addition to its line of SIM racks for mobile Quality of Service (QoS) testing and mobile termination.

iQsim also in the past year acquired QuesCom (News - Alert), a provider of fixed-mobile convergence solutions. The move helps to make the company a European leader in mobile communications routers.

The company started 2012 with news that IRON SIM Server One was recognized as a 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year. It ended the year with the 2012 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award for its newly released Mobile Robot. Clearly, there’s much more to come for this SIM server provider in 2013.
