The stockings may still be dangling over the fireplace, garland may still be draped along the mantle and lights may still glimmer on Christmas trees in homes across the nation, but for the most part, we all endured our morning commutes back to work today. While the most wonderful time of the year is once again behind us, it’s time for businesses to look toward what could be useful and robust technology to help secure their top priorities in 2013 – cost savings and their customers.
One technology which has been progressively improved upon and is therefore becoming increasingly advantageous is fax. Don’t be fooled by the stream of surveys, research and stats showing otherwise; fax is certainly here to stay, and companies across the board have been improving upon its methods of efficiency to make it one of the most relied upon forms of communication for decades.
SIM server solutions provider, iQsim, has found one way to modernize fax communications technology while actually allowing companies to save money and reduce fax-related costs. The solution is found in its FS400 Fax & SMS Communication Router, an all-in-one enterprise fax and SMS solution.
By providing a simple, stand-alone alternative to otherwise burdensome, costly fax solutions, iQsim enables enterprises to cut costs in multiple ways, such as the environmental impact associated with traditional fax, allowing them to develop SMS (Short Message Service) as an efficient communication channel to their customers.

Let’s say an enterprise wants to handle fax and SMS traffic without any PBX (News - Alert) involvement. The FS400 allows this, where all incoming and outgoing telephony and fax traffic go through the device, with all incoming calls bring routed to the PBX and all outgoing calls being routed from the PBX to the FS400, which transparently routes them to the PSTN.

With this option, enterprises can enjoy having multiple virtual fax numbers to send and receive fax (ie. management fax, accounting fax, sales department fax). All fax and SMS is easily sent and received via the enterprise e-mail application, which is already installed on the desktops.
The FS400 can also be set up with a dedicated PBX link, where all incoming and outgoing voice traffic surpass the device and is entirely handled by the enterprise PBX, where fax calls identified by the PBX are then routed to the FS400 and are delivered to the appropriate recipient via e-mail.

- SIM Management for Mobile Termination
To offer better rates on local mobile networks, Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) have to optimize Call Termination costs and maximize SIM cards usage. - SIM Management for M2M Platform Validation
The M2M solutions deployment is very complex and difficult to test and validate in the lab. Gateways and probes on-site deployment are subject to numerous constraints such as GSM 3G coverage, unexpected multi-operator roaming, international roaming, tariff and service restrictions. - SIM Management for Mobile Testing
In order for a Mobile Network Operator to be successful, reduce churn and increase customer loyalty, the need to shift from testing network to perform a complete “end to end” QoS Testing has become obvious.
